Do you consider your performance appraisals indeed an exciting opportunity to set more challenging goals, or just a stressful meeting that could threaten your position?
</topics_for_wri>
<submitted_answer>A)
One of the advantages of the outsourcing for companies is the possibility to cancel the contract or not to prolong the contract. Thus, companies have the opportunity to control the risk of market recession and quickly reduce their own costs.

Furthermore, sometimes it is more profitable for the companies to have the remote or abroad workers. And, there is no need to follow the local labour laws. Also, if the company has some field of activity that is not its core business activity, it is better to take the outsources, who more likely have much expertise in this sphere.

On the other hand, there are also disadvantages of outsourcing. E.g. outsource workers are usually not motivated to perform their best. And there are less leverages to motivate the outsources. You should better avoid to share a non-disclose information to the outsources and so on.

E)
It is not a secret, that the main goal of every business organisation is to make a profit. If the organisation is unprofitable, there is no way for it to take care of the environment or stand up for the civil liberties and fight against racism or any other discriminations. By the way, for the past several years we have talked a lot about corporate social responsibility, ethical business solutions and so on. And, I believe that some companies use these buzzwords to get even more profit by positive PR effect. I am quite involved in ethical side of business activity and I believe it is the most important side. Nevertheless, I suppose that the really best way for any company to make the world better is to have clear ethical mission but not the ethical way of doing business.
