To be honest, I would definitely choose to work with instead of working for a member of my family.
I believe it is hard to combine these two roles and avoid conflict situations. I'm not talking about the possibility of failing a business, but the possibility of failing in personal relationships.
One must be a very professional worker to work with a member of their family. You should clearly separate your personal ambitions from business benefit. You also should leave all work problems behind you when you step over the threshold.
By the way, we have several examples of successful family businesses where different members of a family work together on different positions in small or even bigger companies (e.g Walmart, Ford, etc.).

g.

I would not like to have the same job all my life. I mean the same job in the same company. It is okay for me to work for a very long time in one company, but I would expect career growth. Moreover, I believe there could be some kind of professional degradation if a worker doesn't change their position or job responsibilities for a long time. In the end, it could be boring. So, if I can't find new interesting tasks or growth, I would prefer to change my job.
At the same time there are different areas in our world where people work for their vocation. For example, teachers, doctors etc. And I think it is absolutely normal for those kinds of workers to have the same job all their life. Moreover, I would prefer to have an experienced physician or an experienced teacher for my child.
So, the answer for this question depends on different aspects of professional and personal preferences.]]></submitted_answer>
