Looking back on my business career, I realize that I have often been doing a dead-end job. However, I continued to do that. There were several reasons for this decision. The first was a desire to avoid a potentially even worse situation if I left and another person took over my position. The second is the need to offer support or assistance to colleagues who are in need. Finally, a reluctance to make changes and a desire to calmly finalize things before retirement. In truth, I have no regrets about my choices. To a certain degree, these choices are in line with my own integrity. However, in the end, I decided to quit and retire precisely because I did not see any significant prospects in my work. Would you like to have the same job all your life? The unequivocal answer is "No". Not being a religious person, I believe that we are given only one life.
