Do you believe in positive thinking? What examples can you give?
If we speak about me, I can easily answer this question – yes, I believe in positive thinking. I think that positive thinking has an awesome effect on a person’s psychological health. In spite of the fact that a lot of people think differently, scientists have proven that positive thinking also affects physical health.
As the examples of positive thinking I can give the following:
First of all, positive thinking helps people to rethink their approach about failures. Instead of getting frustrated, a positively thinking person sees the failure as an opportunity for growth. As an example, we can imagine a situation when a person fails an interview. He gained an opportunity to train though he did not get a job.
Secondly, a person with positive attitude surrounds himself with people with the same thinking and avoids negative vibes.
What’s more, positive thinking can lead you to better physical condition. Research shows that folks with an optimistic view of life more often make better health choices such as exercising regularly, eating healthy and sleeping enough.
To sum up, I would like to point out that positive thinking does not mean ignoring problems. It is more about choosing a way to solve a problem and keeping hope in any situation
